Two Wire, Three Wire and Four Wire System

आपने देखा होगा की  जो हमारे घरों मे  Appliances लगे होते हैं , उनकी Supply Wire या तो Two core की होती है या फिर Three core की होती है। जो wire two core की होती है वो Neutral और phase के लिए बनाई जाती है, लेकिन Electric Iron, Heater और वो सभी Appliances जिनकी Body Metal की बनी होती है उन सभी Appliances के लिए Three core की wire का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। three core की wire को इस्तेमाल करने का मुख्य कारण होता है हमारी  safety, मतलब की three core की wire में दो wire phase और neutral के होते हैं  लेकिन तीसरी wire Earthing के लिए इस्तेमाल की जाती है। किस wire को कहाँ पर जोड़ना है ये हम इनके Color Code से पहचान सकते है, जैसे कि Red or Brown wire को हम Phase supply के लिए इस्तेमाल करते हैं , Black Wire को हम Neutral के लिए इस्तेमाल करते हैं  और Green wire को हम हमेशा Earthing के लिए इस्तेमाल करते हैं । ये तो हुई बात Three core wire की, लेकिन अगर हम किसी Company की बात करें तो Company में Three Phase System चलता है यहाँ ज्यादातर Machines Three Phase पर चलती है, इसलिए यहां Four Core की Cable को इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। इन चारों wire के connection हम इनके color code से कर सकते हैं  जैसे कि Red wire को R से, Yellow wire को Y से और Blue wire को B से जोड़ा जाता है, क्योकि three phase supply में तीनों phase R, Y और B होते हैं । अब बची तीसरी wire तो इसको Neutral के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।

Why use Neutral Wire (न्यूट्रल वायर को क्यों इस्तेमाल किया जाता है?)

Single Phase पर किसी भी Appliances को चालू करने के लिए neutral or phase दोनों wire का सही से जुड़े होना जरूरी होता है, क्योकि Neutral wire ही single phase में circuit को पूरा करता है। जैसा कि आपको पता होगा कि D.C में current, positive से negative की तरफ flow होता है इसी प्रकार A.C में भी current phase wire से neutral wire को तरफ flow होता है, अगर कही बीच से neutral टूट जाए या किसी अन्य वजह से circuit पूरा नही हुआ तो हमारा load चालू नही होगा तो हम कह सकते हैं  कि Neutral Wire Circuit को पूरा करता है।

Why use Earthing Wire (अर्थिंग वायर क्यों इस्तेमाल की जाती है?)

Earthing जिसको हम Grounding भी बोलते हैं , इसको इस्तेमाल करने का बस एक ही कारण होता है और वो है Safety. किसी भी Machine या हमारे घरों के Appliances जिनकी body metal की बनी हो, उनकी body को Earthing Wire से जरूर जोड़ा जाता है। इसका मुख्य कारण यह है कि अगर machine में किसी वजह से phase wire machine की body से touch हो जाए तो इस condition में किसी भी तरह से sock लगने का खतरा ना बने। machine की body को earth करने के ये leakage current, earthing wire की मदद से ground हो जाता है और human body को किसी भी खतरे से बचाता है। Earth Wire को ही Ground Wire भी बोला जाता है जैसे कि Earthing और Grounding एक ही है।
